As I am constantly lusting over both the intricately detailed pieces at J.Crew as well as the simpler basics such as the cardigan above, I have taken to finding lower priced versions of the pieces I covet as their clothing is out of my modest student price range (the cardigan above is $138). I found a similar chunky cardigan at American Eagle for around $50. Unfortunately it has since sold out or I would snap up another color!
This is my version of the above sweater, for almost $100 less!
Not bad, hey? I love when I can get the things I want at a price that suits my crazy-low student budget.

ReplyDeleteI love J. Crew. I'm currently dying over Sydney's yellow cardigan from there. But I found a similar one at the goodwill for $5 so I was pretty pleased.
