Dream a little dream of me.

Hello friends! You're in for a big treat today! Sam, the gorgeous gal behind Young People In Love, is joining us today to share her own love story. Hang on to your hats girls, this is one for the books!

1. Tell us the story of how you and your boy met.

Chas and I met when I was 12 and he was 14 years old. My family had just moved from Utah out to New York, where Chas was raised. Our two families quickly became great friends. Our moms were pretty much BFFs at first sight. I had a huge crush on Chas and he... was oblivious. After 4 years of living in NYC, my family moved back to Salt Lake City and, for the next 10 years, Chas and I went on to live our own, separate lives. We kept in touch here and there, but nothing much. After finishing my master's degree in Portland, I moved back, once again to Utah where Chas was finishing up his degree in filmmaking at BYU. We started dating that summer. Within a week, Chas told me he loved me and victory was mine! Turns out some boys just need some time to come to their senses ;)

2. What is the best item of clothing to see your boy wear and why?

If you've visited my blog, even just once, you probably already know that Chas can rock just about anything. He's the kind of guy who knows how to appreciate good style and likes getting dressed up. But when it really comes down to it, I think we'd both agree that Chas' seersucker pants and vest combo is money in the bank.

3. What do you and your boy usually do on date night?

A typical date night for us looks like a dinner of cheeseburgers, onion rings, and root beer. We pay a visit to our favorite local burger joint at least every 10 days. At least. After dinner comes either a movie, snuggling, or both at the same time.

4. What is one BIG dream that you and your boy share?

Chas lived in Italy for two years and speaks fluent Italian. Our big dream is to save up enough money to visit Italy together. He'll be the tour guide and I'll be the tourist. Swoon City.

There you go! Are you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside? Well, you're welcome. And a big round of applause for Sam! Be sure to hop, skip and jump over to her blog for some more warm fuzzies.
