Welcome to 2012!

Shop: coat (Zara)/ sweater (Urban Outfitters)/ similar shorts (F21)/ boots (Steve Madden)/ similar scarf (Urban Outfitters)

Can you believe it's 2012? Sounds so crazy and futuristic! I hope you all had fabulously fun new year celebrations.. mine was nice and relaxed, just how I like it, including snacks and good friends. I have decided to continue my tradition from last year and rather than list resolutions, I will be making 3 goals for myself. It was fun to click back to the beginning of 2011 and realize that I actually realized most of those plans! Here is what I'm looking to accomplish this year:
  1. Continue adding more intention to my life. I'll do this by attending yoga classes 3 times a week so that I can stay centered and healthy.
  2. Focus on turning my love for writing into more of a career than a hobby. I want to build my portfolio and hone my skills so that I can write for a living after graduation. You can turn your love of writing into your profession with this Guide to Career Education.
  3. Branch out from my usual style. I love my uniform of cozy sweaters and skinny jeans but I want to get more creative and try out some different pieces as well!
Do you ladies like making goals rather than resolutions? I find it difficult to set rules for myself but I love knowing that I'm working towards something I am passionate about.

Have you set any goals for yourself? I'd love to hear about it!

PS. See that new button off to the right there? It's pink and has a big star and I'd love for you to click on through and sign up for my newest creation! I'll be sending out new weekly newsletters to all subscribers with updates as well as other feature articles! Check it out if you'd like :)

What a great list you made. I need to add your #1 to my list. What a great goal- staying centered, having intention. Love it. :) Thank you for the much needed inspiration!

  4. All your goals seem great, hope you make them happen :). I think mine is going to be getting out of my comfort zone in some things and find out what I want to do after finishing my career, and I'm actually a bit nervous about it.
