Last week's tea party was so much fun, and I really enjoyed hearing all of your responses, and learning some more about our little community here! This week we have some different questions to answer and I want to encourage you ladies to respond to each other's answers as well, and then we can really get a good chat going!!
1/ We'll start off with the same question. What did you order for our tea party?
2/ What is your biggest goal for this year?
3/ If you could spend an afternoon with anyone, who would it be and what would you do?
4/ Do you enjoy cooking and/or baking?
5/ Do you have a blog or shop? Leave the link here and we can all check each other out!
Here are my answers:
1/ I ordered a steamed apple juice!
2/ My biggest goal for this year has been getting myself into a real schedule. One that includes things that are good for my personal as well as professional life. More yoga, sleep, cooking, and time spent blogging.
3/ My boyfriend and I have both been pretty busy lately, so I would spend it with him. We would go for lunch downtown and then rent a movie and make dinner at home :)
4/ I am trying to learn to enjoy them! When I have the time and the tools, it's actually a lot more fun than I would have guessed! Just last night I baked some adorable mini pies that were super yummy.
5/ You're already here :)
I can't wait to read your responses. And don't forget to respond to each other and get the conversation going!!

Hello everyone! So nice to see you!!I hope you are all feeling fine and dandy!
ReplyDeleteHere are my answers!1/ What did you order for our tea party?CAKE!
2/ What is your biggest goal for this year? To be more productive with my time. Get everything I want to do done. Move forward toward my dreams rather than wasting my time and watching life fly by!!
3/ If you could spend an afternoon with anyone, who would it be and what would you do?Aside from my family and pets who I see all the time I would love to spend an afternoon with a bunch of like minded souls, people who are creative, some who are musical, some who arent. And we'd just have a grand old time having an afternoon tea party or a picnic inside. And just see where time takes us. (I love throwing a good shindig!!)
4/ Do you enjoy cooking and/or baking?
I love both. When I was little my uncle would let me into his kitchen and I could make what ever I wanted! I think that is where my love of baking and cooking started. I feel so calm and at ease when I do it. If I am stressed I will usually go and make a cake (or go for a run).
5/ Do you have a blog or shop? Indeed I do! my blog is called Lemonwood and Honey http://lemonwoodandhoney.blogspot.comAND really soon I will be opening up an online store which has been a goal of mine for ages!! But only this year I have managed to get things in some order and be more productive :)Oh Kendra! This is such a wonderful idea. I love it!!!And it was so much fun!

ReplyDelete1. To start, I ordered a green tea with honey.
ReplyDelete2. My goal for 2012 is to finish all of my knitting projects that are on hold and to launch my new website that I am building from scratches. I mean, it's a lot of work to build a website and to write all the HTML yourself. I would also like to keep good grades in school!
3. I would love to spend the afternoon with my parents and siblings. I sometimes miss the family house since I moved in with my boyfriend a couple months ago ahah! I guess it would be an afternoon filled with family fun.
4. I love both! I am always up for a new kitchen challenge. Trying new food is almost a hobby!

ReplyDelete2/ My biggest goal for this year is to get a high distinction in my university course.
3/ If I could spend the afternoon with anyone it would be my little sister. We live on different sides of the country and I miss her a billion. We'd go shopping and laze on the beach.
4/ I like looking at recipe books and online but I'm not very good at cooking, yet! I'm working on it though! I'm a big sweet tooth so look forward to cooking my own bickies and cakes.
5/ I run an online vintage store at www.facebook.com/Autumn.April.Vintage as well as my (very new!) blog www.bigandbeautifullife.blogspot.com.au

I can agree with you on the finances thing! I'm just about to start a new job that pays alot more than my current one so hopefully I can get my butt into gear and start saving.
ReplyDelete1. It's super hot out here in Ontario today, so I ordered an iced caramel macchiato.

ReplyDeletei wish it was hot over on the west coast of the country!! your blog is adorable, btw!
ReplyDeleteyour blog is already amazing! vanilla steamers used to be my ultimate go-to! :)
ReplyDeleteThese tea parties are too cute!!
ReplyDelete1. I'm going to have a coffee and an orange juice (woo, drinks party!)
2. My goal for this year is to develop a better habit when it comes to saving - I'm nearly 23 and a girl has gotta learn how to save already... Despite the plethora of cute clothes out there!
3. I'd probably pick my boyfriend too. He works weird hours, and I work Monday to Friday, so an uninterrupted afternoon to drink coffee and wander around town would be lovely.
4. I love baking and cooking but hate cleaning up afterwards!! Oh how I wish I had a full time cleaner to do all that for me ;-)
5. No blog or shop, yet.. I'm in the process of starting a blog but haven't actually put anything on there yet... I will soon though!! I've just got to bite the bullet and do it already.
A Vanilla Steamer? That sounds delicious... I don't know if we have those in Aus!
ReplyDeleteChallenging! I'm not making enough money yet that I can quit my fulltime job, but I love the fashion, the products and the idea of it so much that it doesn't really bother me!
ReplyDeleteI ordered an english breakfast tea, strong but milky, with only a tiny bit of sugar :)
ReplyDeleteMy biggest goal is to move out of living in a flat with three other people and my boyfriend, and find a place that is just for us. We recently had a visa scare which meant that he could end up being deported - things are fine now, but it has encouraged us to try and live our lives a bit more fully, because we still can and don't have to leave the country {hooray!}
I would spend an afternoon with my best friends, and we would go swimming in the lake and have a bbq. I only get to see them about once a year, and we always have the most fun going to the cottage.
I really enjoy making macaroni and cheese, mostly because I can eat it by the bucket full. But I recently bought the Little Paris Kitchen cookbook and I'm looking forward to trying to make some madelines filled with lemon curd.
I do have a blog called Nishaantishu, but forgive the mess, it's going through a redesign at the moment http://nishaantishu.blogspot.co.uk/
thanks kendra! your blog is really awesome! btw, i love these tea parties.
ReplyDeletethey are so good! it's pretty much just steamed milk with flavoring. so they usually have a million flavors, like strawberry, blueberry, etc. i tend to go for vanilla or cinnamon. so yummy. :)
ReplyDeleteI missed the first tea party so thought I'd jump on board for the 2nd one before you publish the 3rd week.
ReplyDelete1. I'd order an English breakfast tea (PG Tips) since I'm missing it ever so since being in Canada
2. My biggest goal for this year was travelling to Canada and finding somewhere to settle down out here. My fiancé and I are half way to completing this. Currently travelling west to then go back to the area we most felt at 'home'
3. My Mum. Skype is great for staying in touch while travelling but it's just not the same. Mum hugs are so much better for real. There are some things the Internet can't replace.
4. I love to cook and bake. Looking forward to getting out of hotels and getting our own place here with a kitchen. Will have to get use to the Canadian metrics for measuring
5. agirlsimagination.com
my blog about our travels, my passions and things that inspire me (posts are a little speckled whilst we are unsettled at the moment, bear with me :) )
Lovely to meet you.
