Pattern Play // floral

While my closet is mostly composed of stripes & spots, it is hard to deny the staying power and traditional style points that come along with a sweet floral print. Naturally, it deserves a place in the pattern play ring. Here are some of my favorite floral pieces. 

1/ I used to wear patterned sneakers on the daily, and while I don't intend to re-live many of my early college days, a cute floral sneaker every once and a while may be a good bet. 

2/ Can you imagine this wallpaper as an accent wall in your own home? Because I sure can!! I'm currently obsessed with white ink on kraft paper so I can't even get over how how amazing this would be to stare at everyday. 

3/ J.Crew does everything well, but swim wear is something that they do EXTREMELY well. The ruching is always so beautiful and this print reminds me of rich, prized painting. 

4/ I love throwing on a scarf with my summer dresses when the breeze hits in the evening, and this would look great with an easy denim dress. 

5/ On my wish list for fall is a couple pairs of patterned jeans. Spotted, (of course) and also some florals. I love the cropped length of these and the pattern that I think would act as a perfect neutral.
