We're back for another tea party, ladies! So far we have talked about everything from celebrity crushes to career aspirations and we've got another fun round of topics to chat about today! Read on for this week's questions, and as usual, my answers are below!
1/ As always, what are you ordering on this fine morning?
2/ If you found a $20 bill in your pocket this afternoon, what would you do with it?
3/ What is one beauty trend that you've always wanted to try, but haven't gotten around to it and/or haven't worked up the courage?
4/ Where do you buy most of your clothes? Vintage shops? Big retailers? Cute little boutiques? Online?
5/ What is your online obsession at the moment? A blog? A shop? Leave a URL so we can check it out too!
My answers here!
1/ I've been loving iced soy chai lattes for the past few days, so I'll have to indulge in one of them!
2/ Moving day is next week and I'm making a trip to Ikea in the next couple of days, so I'd spend it on a hot dog from the cafe and maybe some pretty plants for the new apartment!
3/ Little bobs have always been a favorite of mine, and I swear that one day I will work up the courage to chop those few extra inches off!
4/ Forever 21 and Urban Outfitters are usually my go-tos for trendy items, and places like the Gap supply the classics.
5/ I love Amanda Genther's blog for design inspiration and peaks into her life as a freelancer.
I can't wait to read your answers!!

1) It's rainy and cool today so maybe a Chai Tea Latte...
ReplyDelete2) Starbucks and then a trip to the thrift store. $20 at the Goodwill is like a shopping spree.
3) Overalls.... I know, I know, it sounds nuts, but I keep seeing fabulously fashionable pictures of the trend, and, well, let's just say, I'm thinking about it.
4) I wish I could say vintage, but really the bulk of my clothes probably come from Forever 21... trends cheap.
5) As always, http://www.thedaybookblog.com/, I get excited every time I see she has a new post.
Thanks for the chat ;)

1. Plain ol' iced coffee (with a splash of almond milk)
ReplyDelete2. I'm planning to see Safety Not Guaranteed tonight, so I'd treat myself and my friend to popcorn and junior mints
3. I looove the flirty look of cat eye liquid liner, and this reminded me to try it!
4. I shop mostly online- freepeople.com, nastygal.com, shopbop.com, asos.com and madewell.com
5. http://blog.piajanebijkerk.com/ - she lives on a completely gorgeous houseboat in Amsterdam, and I can't get enough of her dreamy pictures.
ReplyDelete1/ Trying to save money so no ordering for me :( But did have a mudslide coffee at the office this morning, for free!
2/ Buy a delicious dinner!
3/ I've always wanted to try individual false eyelashes but am afraid to try it because I want it to look natural.
4/ I never limit myself when buying clothes. I will hit up thrift stores but also shop online. My favorite hit spots are F21 because I can always find something and Asos.
5/ Hmmm.. http://atlantic-pacific.blogspot.com has always been a favorite. It is the one blog I look forward to posts every single week. Wish she posted more!
Yaay! I love Tuesdays at Piece of Cake / Piece of Mind because I love tea parties!
ReplyDelete1/ I'm trying to save money, so I made 10 cups of Starbucks caramel coffee yesterday then refrigerated it, and am sipping on it at work over ice with whipping cream (my mom's secret ingredient in coffee) and a little sugar!
2/ $20? Honestly, probably save it because money has become really tight around our house. But, if I knew I could spend it? I would get some new MAC blush.
3/ Cropped tops. I cannot bring myself, since I gained 10 pounds, to show off my tummy anymore. I hate it. If I was as thin as before, I totally would.
4/ Mostly I buy work and play clothes at Forever 21 because I like cheap! If I'm looking for something specific for a big event though, I'll always go with Zara. And I love asos.com
5/ Kawaii office supples. I dunno what it is about it, but it's just SO CUTE and useful! (Here's my favorite site for it: http://www.yozocraft.com/)
