NYC in 3 parts

-- Shopping for Christmas presents, and a little for me! --

My trip to New York was one of my favorites on record. That city is really something else, and during the holidays it's even more magical. We arrived on the 23rd and these images span until Christmas eve. We spent the first couple of days sneaking around buying presents for each other, exploring the city, and taking in the sights. On Christmas eve we went to a service at a church on 5th Avenue, and it was definitely a highlight of my trip. Amidst the hustle and bustle of the city, and the crazy consumption of the holidays, it was lovely to sit back and enjoy some peace, reflection, and celebration for a couple of hours.

-- Stunning front entrance of the church we attended Christmas eve --

-- My uniform on the trip: cozy jacket, tights, booties and a touque! --

-- Old buildings with wreaths on the windows was one of my favorite holiday sights --

-- They just don't make buildings with intricacy like this anymore --

-- The ceiling of MACY'S was all decked out for the holidays --

-- Subway signs are so synonymous with that awesome city --

-- My parents and I exploring Bryant Park and the Christmas market there --

-- Radio City was very close to our hotel and we saw the Rockettes there! --

-- The chandelier in the lobby of Radio City Music Hall --

I will be back with more moments from my trip next week!

How has your 2013 been so far? I'd love to hear :)
